COM EUFOR, Major General Maurizio Fronda, continued his engagement with local authorities across Bosnia and Herzegovina on 07th October, meeting the Mayor of Kotor Varoš, Mr. Zdenko Sakan, and the Mayor of Laktaši, Mr. Miroslav Bojić
Kotor Varoš, COM EUFOR met Mayor Sakan to exchange views on the local situation, current developments and issues affecting the community. Later in the day, Major General Fronda travelled to Laktaši, where he met Mayor Mr. Miroslav Bojić. The engagement provided a further opportunity to hear directly from local leadership and discuss developments within the municipality.
Regular engagement with mayors and municipal authorities is an important part of EUFOR’s approach to maintaining direct contact with communities across Bosnia and Herzegovina. These meetings allow EUFOR to hear local perspectives, strengthen relationships and maintain a broad understanding of developments throughout the country.
