Born on November 12, 1969, in Câmpina, Prahova County, he embarked on his military journey in 1984, enrolling in the Military High School. By 1991, he had graduated from the Field Artillery Military School, laying the foundation for a respected career marked by leadership, international missions, and strategic expertise.
was born in Bari, Italy on the 20th of May 1968. He attended the 169th course at the Italian Army Military Academy in Modena from 1987 to 1989. After being commissioned to 2nd Lieutenant, he completed his military education at the “Scuola di Applicazione” in Torino.
graduated from the Austrian Military Academy of Wiener Neustadt in 1998 as an infantry officer. In his first positions, he had various commanding and staff officer positions at regimental level in the Guards Battalion in Vienna. During these assignments, he had also the possibility to familiarize with the increasingly emerging peace support operations in Austria at that time.
Joined the Romanian Armed Forces in 1996, right after completing his secondary education.
