Commander EUFOR, Major General Maurizio Fronda, welcomed the Polish Head of Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Minister Plenipotentiary Mr Marcin Czapliński, for a constructive meeting focused on continued cooperation and support for Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The discussion highlighted the strong partnership between EUFOR and the Embassy of Poland, with both sides reaffirming their shared commitment to supporting the authorities of Bosnia and Herzegovina and contributing to a safe and secure environment.
Major General Fronda expressed his sincere appreciation for Poland's continuous support to EUFOR and thanked the Embassy for its valuable cooperation. He also paid tribute to the Polish soldiers serving in Operation ALTHEA alongside personnel from 24 contributing nations, recognizing their professionalism, dedication, and important contribution to the mission.
Concluding the meeting, Major General Fronda reaffirmed EUFOR's commitment to maintaining close cooperation with the Embassy of Poland, underlining that EUFOR will continue to carry out its mandate as a visible, credible, and impartial force in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
