COM EUFOR Major General Maurizio Fronda, accompanied by the Minister of Defence of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Zukan Helez, visited the municipalities of Kupres and Kupres RS, where they met with the respective municipal mayors, Mr. Danko Jurič and Mr. Srđen Petković.
The meetings provided an opportunity to discuss the current security environment, the importance of maintaining close cooperation between local authorities and security institutions, and issues of mutual interest concerning local communities.
Major General Fronda reaffirmed EUFOR's continued commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment through its visible, credible and impartial presence across Bosnia and Herzegovina. He emphasized the importance of regular engagement with local authorities as part of EUFOR's efforts to strengthen dialogue, build trust and enhance cooperation throughout the country.
The presence of the Minister Helez highlighted the value of cooperation between the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, EUFOR and local communities in supporting stability and addressing common challenges.
The visit reflects the shared commitment to maintaining strong partnerships with local institutions and supporting peace, stability and security for all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
