EUFOR Commander Major General Maurizio Fronda welcomed a delegation of students consisting of military and civilian officers from Pakistan to Camp Butmir as part of their National Security and War Course at the National Defence University.

During the visit, Brigadier General Legoza delivered a presentation outlining EUFOR’s mandate, role, and ongoing activities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, highlighting the mission’s contribution to maintaining a safe and secure environment in close cooperation with the authorities of Bosnia and Herzegovina and international partners.

Addressing the delegation, Major General Fronda emphasised the importance of dialogue and knowledge sharing between security professionals.

“Professional exchanges such as these strengthen mutual understanding, encourage the sharing of experiences, and reinforce the importance of international cooperation in addressing today’s complex security challenges,” he said.

The visit concluded with an engaging discussion and question-and-answer session, providing delegates with further insight into EUFOR’s mission and the current security environment in Bosnia and Herzegovina. EUFOR remains committed to supporting initiatives that promote cooperation, partnership, and the exchange of best practice among the international security community.
