EUFOR Commander, Major General Maurizio Fronda, conducted an official visit to Jablanica, reaffirming EUFOR’s continued presence, and commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina.

During his visit COM EUFOR met with Mayor of Jablanica, Mr. Emir Muratović. In this discussion, the Mayor of Jablanica informed COM EUFOR about the current projects ongoing in the city, all of which were enabled by the stable situation within BiH currently. Major General Fronda reiterated EUFOR’s firm commitment to close cooperation with domestic authorities, supporting capacity-building efforts that contribute to long-term stability and prosperity for all citizens.

Continuing his tour, Major General Fronda visited Turkish LOT House in Jablanica. The visit provided valuable insight into the daily engagements of EUFOR troops with local communities. LOT team delivered comprehensive briefings on their outreach activities, emphasizing their role in maintaining situational awareness, fostering trust, and strengthening cooperation with local institutions.

As Major General Fronda said LOT Houses are an important part of the system designed to prevent threats to the safe and secure environment, all 20 EUFOR LOT Houses are there for citizens and local institutions all over Bosnia and Herzegovina.
