Yesterday at Camp Butmir, COM EUFOR Major General Florin Marian Barbu had the honor of welcoming Major General Claudiu Mihail Sava, Deputy Chief of the Romanian Defence Staff for Planning.
During their official talks, Major General Barbu briefed his Romanian counterpart on the current security landscape in Bosnia and Herzegovina, while commending the professionalism and dedication of the Romanian contingent serving within EUFOR.
Major General Sava also met with DCOM EUFOR Brigadier General Uberto Incisa di Camerana and COS EUFOR Brigadier General Tibor Szabó, reinforcing strong multinational cooperation.
As part of EUFOR’s annual Quick Response Exercise, Major General Sava attended Distinguished Visitor Day, where he met with HE Anton Păcurețu, Romanian Ambassador to BiH, and engaged with Romanian personnel from the Aviation Detachment and other deployed units.
