EUFOR Aviation Detachment successfully carried out its first medical evacuation (MEDEVAC) exercise at night, in a challenging operational context marked by cold season conditions.

The scenario involved providing first aid to two patients and their evacuation under low temperatures, reduced visibility, and strong winds.

This demanding exercise tested our crews’ response capacity, coordination, and adaptability to winter weather challenges, with a strong focus on personnel safety and prompt intervention.

A big thank you to all involved for their professionalism and dedication. Continuous training keeps us ready for any mission.
