On Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th May, EUFOR personnel in conjunction with the Armed Forces of BiH participated in the Urban Kids Festival in Skenderija Hall in Sarajevo. EUFOR provided an interactive display on both days encompassing EOD teams with their dogs, Medical teams teaching children essential first aid skills, Military vehicles from Romania and Greece and a general display of military equipment and EUFOR capability.
In addition, there was some very fun games and interactive experiences provided to the children by both the EUFOR PAO team who were supported by MnBN personnel. To make the experience memorable for all in attendance, EUFOR provided the service of a photo booth that facilitated parents and children to snap some fun photos and make memories.
After two active days and thousands of visitors at Skenderija Hall in Sarajevo, EUFOR extends special thanks to our esteemed guests and to the Armed Forces of BiH for their contribution and partnership. We truly enjoyed coming together with the Armed Forces of BiH to welcome and engage with the children of BiH who visited us over the weekend.
Special thanks also go to our colleagues from the Multinational Battalion and the medical team for making our participation as spectacular as it was. We deeply value these kinds of engagements and promise to surprise you in the near future with similar initiatives.
