The last two EUFOR Soccer Cup 2012 regional qualification tournaments have been played this week in Mostar and Tomislavgrad.
On 6th and 7th November, 24 boys’ teams and 12 girls’ teams took part in the Mostar regional tournament which was held in the Karting Club Sports Hall.
The tournament was opened by officials from EUFOR and the EUSR.
In Tomislavgrad today, the final regional tournament involving nine boys’ teams and three girls’ was held in the Gradska Sportka Dvorana.
Match referees for both tournaments were provided by members of the Armed Forces BiH.
The EUFOR Soccer Cup 2012 has once again proven to be the most popular indoor soccer competition in the country, with teams taking part from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Out of a total of 285 teams that entered the competition, 36 teams will now go on to play in the grand finale in Sarajevo’s Zetra Sports Hall on 23rd and 24th November 2012.
