Invitation to media representatives to witness the United Kingdom Contingent arriving with their equipment and a statement by Commander EUFOR, Major General Anton Waldner for the launch ‘Exercise Quick Response 17’ The Statement will be delivered in the restaurant area of Terminal A at Sarajevo International Airport on Friday 6 October 2017.

An Antonov will be landing at 14:30 with UK vehicles and equipment with the UK Soldiers arriving at 15:50 on a Royal Air Force Voyager Aircraft.

‘Quick Response 2017’ is a EUFOR-led peace support operation exercise. It will take place 11 - 15 October in the areas of Sarajevo, Pazaric and Kalinovik. This will be the first time BiH law enforcement agencies, Armed Forces of BiH and EUFOR will exercise together in realistic scenarios, in order to test their respective contingency plans.

Media representatives are kindly requested to arrive at Sarajevo International Airport no later than 14:00.
