Invitation to all Media Representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) on the occasion of the European Union Special Representative and European Union Force Ceremony to mark EU Day in Bosnia and Herzegovina on Monday 9 May 2016, Army Hall Sarajevo

The European Union Special Representative (EUSR), His Excellency Mr Lars-Gunnar Wigemark and the Commander European Union Force (COMEUFOR), Major General Friedrich Schrötter invite honored guests to a EUFOR led ceremony to mark European Union (EU) Day in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH). This will take place outside Army Hall in Sarajevo on Monday 9 May 2016 1400hrs to 1530hrs.

The parade will consist of military personnel from EUFOR and AFBiH, and the AFBiH Band. This highlights the close cooperation between the EU and BiH; EUFOR, its Troop Contributing Nations and the AFBiH; and the mutual support and respect that exists between them in working together for peace, security, stability and a more prosperous future. This event will be attended by Armed Forces (AF) of BiH Chief the Joint Staff, General Anto Jeleč, VIPs and delegates from BiH, the EU, and representatives of many other nations. EUSR and COMEUFOR invite all media representatives from BiH to attend.

The event will comprise of a ceremony outside Army Hall in Sarajevo and a joint Press Statement on completion.
