On Wednesday 26 April a multi-national group of 13 students and lecturers from the University of Sarajevo visited EUFOR HQ to obtain information on the EUFOR Althea mission in BiH.

The group was greeted by members of the Public Affairs Office before receiving a brief from Major Alec Kovacs, COMEUFOR’s Office Manager, on the EU Comprehensive Approach and EUFOR’s role in it. The mix of academics and students were from the International Relations Department, part of the Faculty of Business and Administration at the International University of Sarajevo. Their main interest was in EUFOR’s role in the creation of contemporary European politics and their reason to be in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The short visit finished with a group photograph in front of the HQ building and feedback from the students on the benefit of visit was very positive.
