On 26 April 2017 COMEUFOR Major General Anton Waldner visited the BiH Parliament to meet with the Croat member of the Presidency, Dragan Čović. They discussed the current security situation in BiH and progress of BiH on its path to EU and NATO.

Major General Waldner emphasized during this inaugural visit that EUFOR will remain a reliable and flexible partner of BiH and added that he will continue to provide an active contribution to overall stability and security in the region.
Čović welcomed the contribution that EUFOR can give in the process of Euro-Atlantic integration of BiH. He confirmed he was open to all further communication and assistance EUFOR may need for successful achievement of common goals.
