Capacity Building and Training

Finland has 5 personnel working within EUFOR, including engineers who train and mentor the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina (AFBiH). Building the capacity and capabilities of the AFBiH is EUFOR’s main effort. Most recently, Finnish engineers were involved in training AFBiH personnel to construct bridges, a key part of their capability to assist the Bosnia and Herzegovina authorities during humanitarian emergencies.
