EUFOR is an impartial, professional military force of approximately 1,100 soldiers from 19 EU and non-EU nations who are committed to supporting the Government of BiH to contribute to the ongoing stability of this country.
We are a competent and well-equipped military force and we are your reliable partners as BiH continues on its path to prosperity and stability.
EUFOR maintains a Headquarters and Multinational Battalion in Camp Butmir in Sarajevo as well as a network of 17 Liaison and Observation Teams across BiH.
EUFOR also maintains a reserve out of country and can deploy up to 3,500 troop to BiH, if required.
This demonstrates the EU’s ongoing commitment to assist in maintaining a safe and secure environment in BiH.
