The final day of Exercise Quick Response took place on the 14 October with the complexities of the scenarios increasing at all locations. The Turkish troops from EUFOR's Multinational Battalion had to support SIPA in securing some important infrastructure for Sarajevo International Airport.
NATO's Kosovo Force Tactical Reserves and the Hungarian element of EUFORs Multinational Battalion were tested in securing the area around an ammunition storage site against a range of fictitious injects to really test their skills. The Intermediate Reserve Force from the UK had to deal with some challenging civil unrest and hostage situations as they completed their urban training scenarios.
Quick Response 17 has tested the complex mechanisms to activate and integrate the reserves with EUFOR's in-theatre troops, the Law Enforcement Agencies and the Armed Forces of BiH.
