Over the past two days, EUFOR participated in the 53rd Plum Fair in Gradačac, bringing together visitors, exhibitors and people from across Bosnia and Herzegovina.
During the fair, Gradačac became a lively meeting place for people of all generations, with a programme that offered something for everyone. From the rich flavours and aromas of plums to educational programmes, creative workshops, concerts and interactive activities, the fair provided an opportunity for people to connect, share experiences and enjoy time together.
EUFOR’s presence at the fair provided an opportunity to present Operation Althea and engage directly with local communities, while highlighting EUFOR’s continued commitment to supporting a safe and stable environment in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The fair was also visited by the Commander of EUFOR, Major General Maurizio Fronda, who highlighted the importance of community events that bring people together and contribute to building trust.
EUFOR remains committed to engaging with communities across Bosnia and Herzegovina and supporting a safe and stable environment for all citizens.
