Today, on 03th February EUFOR Commander, Major General Maurizio Fronda, met with the EU Ambassador and EU Special Representative for Bosnia and Herzegovina (EUSR), H.E. Mr. Luigi Soreca, in Sarajevo.
The meeting provided a valuable opportunity to discuss the current security situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and to reaffirm the strong cooperation already achieved. As EUFOR forms an integral part of EU’s comprehensive approach, COM EUFOR and the EUSR emphasized the importance of close coordination between EU institutions and partners in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Major General Fronda assured his full cooperation with the Special Representative over the next 12 months and furthermore, EUFOR’s commitment to assisting BiH institutions in ensuring a safe and secure environment for all citizens, underlining EUFOR’s strong commitment to remain visible, credible and impartial.
