The first Italian helicopters have arrived at Camp Butmir as part of the upcoming transition of transportation and air medical evacuation tasks from the Romanian crew of the EUFOR Aviation Detachment.
In the coming days, the Italian and Romanian teams will begin joint training to ensure a smooth and professional handover–takeover of responsibilities.
This cooperation highlights EUFOR’s commitment to maintaining high operational readiness and ensuring seamless continuity in support of its mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
