COS EUFOR, Brigadier General Tibor Szabó, recently visited Capljina, where he engaged with the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s 4th Infantry Brigade. His program continued in Mostar with the 1st Infantry (Guards) Regiment and the Weapons Storage Site at S. B. Krajlević.

Strengthening Cooperation with AF BiH

During these visits, Brigadier General Szabó met with senior AF BiH leaders, including Major General Zdravko Rezo, Commander of the Support Command; Brigadier General Slaven Blavicki, Commander of the 4th Infantry Brigade; Colonel Mirnes Cisic, Chief of Staff of the 4th Infantry Brigade; and Colonel Martin Pazin, Commander of the 1st Infantry (Guards) Regiment.

The discussions focused on Bosnia and Herzegovina’s security environment, the importance of close cooperation with AF BiH, and the valuable contribution of BiH soldiers serving alongside EUFOR. These engagements reaffirm EUFOR’s commitment to working hand in hand with the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina to maintain stability and strengthen mutual understanding.
