On 27 November 2025, COM EUFOR Major General Florin Marian Barbu welcomed Mr. Ionuț Moșteanu, Minister of Defense of Romania, accompanied by General Gheorghiță Vlad, Chief of Defence of Romania, and HE Anton Păcurețu, Ambassador of Romania to BiH, at Camp Butmir.
Talks centered on the security situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with COM EUFOR reaffirming EUFOR’s essential role in safeguarding stability. He also highlighted the valuable contribution of Romanian soldiers serving within the mission.
Later, Minister Moșteanu and General Vlad met with the Romanian contingent, strengthening bonds and personally recognizing their dedication and service.
