Today at Camp Butmir, the Turkish Military Contingent of EUFOR ALTHEA proudly celebrated Türkiye’s National Day, observed annually on October 29. The event was honored by the presence of COM EUFOR Major General Florin Marian Barbu, COS EUFOR Brigadier General Tibor Szabó, H.E. Emin Akseki, Ambassador of Türkiye to Bosnia and Herzegovina and Herzegovina, and EUFOR personnel stationed at Camp Butmir.
Our Turkish colleagues showcased the vibrant culture, rich traditions, and enduring spirit of their nation, a celebration marked by unity, pride, and camaraderie.
We are honored to serve alongside the dedicated personnel from Türkiye under EUFOR Operation Althea. Together, we remain committed to promoting peace and stability in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
