Today, 14th August 2025, the German Army Command held its Change of Command ceremony in the presence of the EUFOR Commander in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Major General Florin Marian Barbu and the EUFOR leadership team.
This ceremony marked the official handover of command of the German Contingent from Lieutenant Colonel Sebastian Bauer to Lieutenant Colonel Marcus Kannengieβer, in Camp Butmir.
During this ceremony, COM EUFOR Major General Barbu thanked Lieutenant Colonel Sebastian Bauer for his outstanding and unwavering service.
