COM EUFOR, Major General Dieter Heidecker, as part of his inaugural tour, has recently paid visits to the first 3 out of a total number of 17 EUFOR Liaison and Observation Teams (LOT), namely to Novo Sarajevo, Jablanica and Mostar. The teams in the LOT houses briefed the General on the present situation in the area and the ongoing LOT activities, but were also given the opportunity to exchange ideas with their Commander.
The LOT House system allows EUFOR to feel the pulse of the country and so far all teams have succeeded well in developing a warm and professional relationship with their neighbours and the local authorities.
