Major General Robert BRIEGER, Commander EUFOR visited (Regional Coordination Centre, Centre) RCC C and (Liaison and Observation Team) LOT House Zenica on 20 December 2011.
COM was met and briefed by Chief RCC Centre, Cdr Tan DERVISOGLU and by Chief LOT ZENICA, Maj Erol ISIK, both Officers from Turkey.
A question and answer session followed the briefings involving COMEUFOR, Chief Information Analysis Division, Col Patrick PHELAN and the RCC & LOT staff. COMEUFOR toured the RCC, met the staff and exchanged gifts with the RCC Chief. COMEUFOR then travelled to LOT Zenica to tour the LOT House and meet the LOT House Military Staff.After this visit RCC Centre hosted a lunch for representatives from EUFOR, RCC Centre & LOT Zenica. This was COM EUFOR’s second visit to an RCC & LOT House. He plans to visit all RCC & LOT locations in the coming weeks and months to support the staff and inform himself of the tasks being undertaken by EUFOR personnel.
