Arrival of EUFOR Strategic Reserve Force to BiH
Troops of the Strategic Reserve Force (SRF) of EUFOR are already in Bosnia and Herzegovina and now their equipment also arrived. They will be soon conducting patrols across BiH and training with EUFOR in-theatre forces and elements of Armed Forces of BiH.

COM EUFOR visited the EUFOR Liaison and Observation Team (LOT) House located in Modrica on Monday 17th October 2011. He was accompanied on this visit by the Chargé d’affaires of the Portuguese Embassy; Ms. Sónia Maria Melo e Castro. This LOT House is commanded by Lt Col Joɑ̃o Junqueira of the Portuguese Army. He has five other members of the Portuguese Army serving in the LOT House with him.
On arrival COM EUFOR and the Chargé d’affaires were met and welcomed by the LOT Commander and all the Military and civilian staff. The LOT Commander then briefed the visiting party on the LOT House area of responsibility and the work routine undertaken by the LOT staff. After an excellent brief COM EUFOR thanked the Chargés d’affaires and the LOT Commander for the commitment of Portugal in supporting EUFOR and for all the dedicated work the LOT team have displayed in their tour of duty to date. The LOT Commander offered the visiting party an Honour Port Wine salute. This was followed by an exchange of gifts and a team photograph. COM EUFOR presented the LOT Military personnel with a COM EUFOR coin and the visit concluded with lunch hosted by the LOT Commander.
