Austrian Mountain Infantry Specialist Lieutenant Colonel Christoph Blasch is the new commander of the EUFOR Multinational Battalion (MNBN). He took command of the battalion in a ceremony at Camp Butmir on Tuesday 9th August.

The first challenge for him and the entire battalion will be a large-scale exercise at end of September. During "Operational Rehearsal 2" multinational reserve forces will be deployed to BiH in order to undertake combined training with EUFOR troops and Armed Forces BiH.
