Between 19th and 23rd of March 2012 the Turkish Company (T–Coy) of the Multi-National Battalion (MNBN) conducted Joint training with the troops of the 4th Infantry Brigade in the Forward Operation Base (FOB) at Glamoč.
The focus for the week was practical work at the platoon level. The topics for training were Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD), First Aid and Medical Evacuation, plus how to handle all types of checkpoints such as a vehicle or temporary checkpoint. Escorting and organizing a convoy was also on the schedule. The highlight for Friday was the Live Firing Exercise done in cooperation between the two nationalities.
One of the main goals of this training was to share the experiences with the troops of AF BiH and to further improve cooperation between EUFOR and AF BiH.
