THE Commander of EUFOR, Major General (MG) Dieter HEIDECKER, hosted a meeting with the Minister of Security of BiH, Mr Fahrudin RADONČIĆ, in Camp Butmir, on Friday 22 February 2013.

COM EUFOR gave a warm welcome to the Minister of Security, for this second meeting between them, during which they both reaffirmed their willingness to build enhanced levels of co-operation between their respective organisations.
Mr RADONČIĆ welcomed the presence of EUFOR in BiH for providing reassurance to its citizens, but also because it signalled a wider message of support for the people of BiH from the International Community.
An initiative to establish information sharing arrangements between EUFOR and selected ministerial and law enforcement agencies in BiH was further discussed, and a Memorandum of Understand (MoU) on information sharing will now be finalised as a matter of priority. It is envisaged that a working mechanism for regular exchange of information should be achieved in early 2013.
