A Turkish Platoon of the EUFOR Multinational Battalion (MNBN) conducted peacekeeping training with the Bosnian Armed Forces at Prijedor in the northwest of Bosnia and Herzegovina from 16 - 19 February 2015.
The exercise focused on Force Protection tactics and the aim of the training was to strengthen the abilities and skills of the soldiers in conducting peace support operations.

AFBIH - EUFOR Capacity Building and Training Plan 2015

This was the first of 9 platoon level combined training exercises due to be held in 2015, the exercises are conducted throughout BiH. The exercise included construction and manning of check points and convoy training. Lieutenant Akcelik from the EUFOR Multinational Battalion Staff said "I am grateful and honoured to be the leader of this training and I am confident that all participating soldiers have benefited greatly from the training."
Combined training serials are an important aspect of EUFOR's Capacity Building and Training programme, EUFOR is arming the AFBIH not only for peace support operations abroad, but also to support local authorities and the people of BiH through disaster relief and crisis management.
