EUFOR held the Deputy Commander Change of Command Ceremony at Camp Butmir, marking an important moment of leadership transition within Operation Althea.
During the ceremony, Brigadier General Uberto Incisa di Camerana formally handed over the responsibilities of Deputy Commander of EUFOR to Brigadier General Bálint Legoza ensuring continuity of leadership and the continued effectiveness of the mission.
The ceremony was attended by senior military and diplomatic representatives, including the Ambassador of Italy to Bosnia and Herzegovina, H.E. Sarah Eti Castellani and the EU Operation Commander for the European Union military operation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Lieutenant General Ludovic Pinon de Quincy.
Addressing the audience, the Commander of EUFOR, Major General Maurizio Fronda, highlighted the importance of strong leadership, unity of effort, and continued cooperation with the authorities and Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

said Major General Fronda.
The Change of Command ceremony underscored the enduring support of the European Union and its international partners to peace, stability, and security in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
