Minefield map

This map shows areas with known contamination of mines and unexploded ordinance. Information is provided by BHMAC.
Under the supervision of EUFOR’s Mines Information Coordination Cell (MICC) and in cooperation with the Armed Forces BiH (AFBiH), EUFORs Liaison Observation Teams (LOT) are teaching Mine Risk Education (MRE) classes in every corner of BiH. Every day EUFOR’s MRE teams are working towards helping decreasing the number of Mine- and Explosive Remnants of War casualties to the bare minimum. However, the restrictions due to the COVID-19-pandemic limited the possibilities of LOT Teams to give MRE in schools. EUFOR cooperated BIH Mine Action Center (BH MAC) and the AFBIH to provide EUFOR and its Liaison and Observation Teams with a Virtual Educational Tutorial Video to deliver Mine Risk Education classes in kindergartens, schools and for families at home during the pandemic, when contact with the public is limited.
