COM EUFOR, Major General Bernhard Bair, hosted the society during their visit to Camp Butmir, Sarajevo, on 27 September 2010 and gave a short briefing to them on the work of EUFOR in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

On 27th September 2010 the Spanish Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina, H.E Alejandro Alvargonzález San Martín attended a medal parade to honour those who have served in the mission. The majority of those receiving medals were Spanish who are nearing the end of their contribution to EUFOR in BiH.
COM EUFOR, Major General Bernhard Bair, thanked all those who received their medals, telling them that they could be proud of their hard work, their professionalism and their contribution to the country.

COS EUFOR with LOT Brcko personnel.

On his first official trip after being appointed COS HQ EUFOR, Brigadier General Günter Giesa visited the Liaison and Observation Team (LOT) houses in Brcko, Derventa and Modrica, located in the northern region of Bosnia and Herzegovina. During his visit he was able to get a first-hand impression of LOT operations conducted in the three areas.

On 22^nd September 2010, Mr. Serge Marmy, Head of the Delegation in Bosnia and Herzegovina of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), paid a visit to EUFOR HQ at Camp Butmir, Sarajevo. He was warmly greeted by COM EUFOR, Major General Bernhard Bair.

During the subsequent office call, COM EUFOR briefed the distinguished guest on recent activities, in particular the help EUFOR provides to local health institutions. ICRC head underlined the importance of supporting families of missing persons to receive information about their relatives.

On 19th September 2010, EUFOR Info Ops team travelled to Kakanj to greet a group of the secondary school pupils as they were leaving for their visit to Austria. 

Five pupils of the Gymnasium Kakanj, together with their professor, won the trip to Austria on the EUFOR School Competition 2010. They departed from Kakanj by bus.

On 18th September 2010, COM EUFOR, Major General Bernhard Bair, visited Siroki Brijeg and the Liaison and Observation Team (LOT) there. COM EUFOR was welcomed by Major Ignacio Warleta, Chief of Regional Coordination Centre 2 (RCC 2) together with Captain Merdin Kiskan, LOT Siroki Brijeg Chief.
