Captain Miroslaw Tuliszka, Chief of the European Union Staff Group (EUSG) undertook a 4 day visit to EUFOR, 11 – 14 July. This is his first official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina since taking up the role of Chief of the EUSG. During the 4 days, Captain Tuliszka attended a number of meetings and briefings regarding the current situation in BiH and the EUFOR. In addition, he undertook official meetings with COM NATO Sa and Officers in the Joint Staff, Armed Forces BiH.
In accordance with the implementation of the EUFOR Force Element “Personnel Management” the EUFOR HQ, Capacity Building and Training Division (CBTD), Expert Training Branch (ETB) Personnel Management Specialist (PMS) OF-3 BGR Air Force Georgi Sirakov visited units of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina (AF BiH).
The main purpose of the visits is to provide a formal communication between the parties that are working on Personnel Management in order to co-ordinate their efforts and ensure that there is mutual understanding of their responsibilities concerning ongoing projects in AF BiH.
During the meetings with OF-3 Enis Redzepagic, Assistant Chief of Staff for Personnel of the 5th Infantry Brigade, Tuzla on 02 June and with OF-3 Martin Propadalo, Assistant Chief of Staff for Personnel of the AF and AD Brigade, Banja Luka on 29 June 2011 EUFOR PMS was familiarised with the structure, topics and activities of the Personnel staff of the Brigades.
