On June 4th, a closing ceremony was held at Rajlovac Barracks for the Armed Forces Bosnia and Herzegovina (AFBiH) engineers who successfully completed a vehicle maintenance course run by a Romanian EUFOR Capacity Building and Training team.
On 3rd of June 2015, the Capacity Building & Training Divisions (CBTD) Bi-Monthly Meeting took place in CAMP BUTMIR
This meeting occurs every two months, and is used to exchange information between the Capacity Building and Training teams in Camp Butmir and those working with Armed Forces Bosnia and Herzegovina (AFBiH).
From the 18th to the 29th of May, a MAHE (Military Assistance in Humanitairian Emergencies) Exercize was conducted in Derventa. The exercise came close to being a real situation as heavy rain raised the risk of flooding during the two weeks.
On 14 May 2015 the Turkish contingent via its Liason Observation Team (LOT) in Travnik donated new equipment to the maternity department of Travnik hospital costing 31,200 Euros. The equipment was opened in a ceremony attended by local medical and government officials.
During their regular meetings with the local people in the hospital, the personnel of LOT Travnik had noticed that the hospital would benefit from more equipment for new born babies. Seeing the opportunity, a Civil and Military Co-Operation project was started, resulting in the donation of the equipment.
From 20 to 30 April 2015, Major Predrag Marjanović and Captain Kemal Osmanović, Armed Forces BIH (AFBiH) instructors supported by the Turkish Mobile Monitoring Team, Major Yasin Tuncer and Sergeant Major Ali Turudu, successfully delivered a Military Decision Making Process (MDMP course for the AFBiH at the Tactical Support Brigade Barracks in Rajlovac. This course was the third out of eight courses on Communication and Information Systems (CIS), which are planned for this year. 15 personnel (14 Officers, 1 NCO) of the AFBiH successfully completed the course.
