A medal ceremony was held in the gymnasium at Camp Butmir on completion of the tournament with awards presented by EUFOR Chief of Staff, Brigadier General (DEU Luftwaffe) Robert Löwenstein accompanied by Brigadier General Jelic of the AFBiH Operational Command. Medals and certificates were presented to the first three teams.
Brigadier General Löwenstein stated:
“This has been a most enjoyable and exciting tournament, that has allowed many EUFOR members to get to know their AFBiH colleagues. I have been delighted to watch the tournament and present the medals, and I look forward to similar competitions in the future, as EUFOR and AFBiH continue to work closely together.”
