On 26 April 2017 COS EUFOR Brigadier General Jósef Szpisják met with the Director of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies (DCPB) of BiH, Mirsad Vilić, at EUFOR HQ Camp Butmir.

They discussed the security situation in BiH and the wider region as well as about the challenges law enforcement agencies in the country deal with on a daily basis. They also summarized joint activities of the Directorate and EUFOR so far and discussed opportunities for the implementation of new joint activities which align with the competencies of the Directorate and the mandate of EUFOR in BiH.

COS EUFOR offered support to future DCPB activities and in case of disaster relief requirements. Both expressed their conviction that the previous fruitful cooperation will continue in order to keep the secure and stable environment for the citizens of BiH.
