Bulgarian Deputy Defence Minister Avgustina Tzvetkova Visits EUFOR

COMEUFOR and Ms. Avgustina Tzvetkova pass through Honour Guard

On 15th December 2010, EUFOR was visited by the Bulgarian Deputy Defence Minister, Ms. Avgustina Tzvetkova, who is in Bosnia and Herzegovina on a one day visit.

On arrival in Camp Butmir she was greeted by a Guard of Honour and COMEUFOR, Major General Bernhard Bair, before attending an Office Call where she was briefed on the OP Althea mission to support the Safe and Secure Environment in BiH and the important contribution that Bulgarian troops make to the mission. COMEUFOR thanked the minister for her country’s continuing support to EUFOR and the professionalism of the Bulgarian soldiers.
Bulgarian forces help guard Camp Butmir, man a LOT House in Bugojno, and fill important positions in the EUFOR HQ.
