Young Woman Flown to Sarajevo Hospital

Monday 19 July, in a race against time, a young woman was flown by EUFOR Alouette III medevac helicopter from Bihac to the Kosevo hospital in Sarajevo. The flight was successful and the patient is now in the best care available in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Said COM EUFOR Maj Gen Bernhard Bair the young lady is a very ill patient and our thoughts are with her family. If EUFOR is asked to help and we have the training and equipment to do so we will not hesitate to assist the authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina in order to try and save life.
