Medal Parade to Mark the Withdrawal of The Spanish Contingent

On 18th June, COM EUFOR Maj General Bernhard Bair, in a ceremony to mark the withdrawal of the Spanish contingent, presented OPERATION ALTHEA medals to soldiers of the whose contribution to the EUFOR Bosnia and Herzegovina mission is complete. Said COM EUFOR   “All of you have served the mission very well and you can be proud of your efforts for this wonderful country.  I am proud to have been your commander and wish you a safe return to Spain.”
In this routine roulement of EUFOR troops, the Spanish contingent has been replaced with soldiers from Austria.
