THE Commander of EUFOR, Major General (MG) Dieter HEIDECKER, attended a courtesy call with the President of FBiH Živko BUDIMIR in Sarajevo on 22 January 2013.
MG HEIDECKER briefed President BUDIMIR on current EUFOR priorities including Capability Building and Training for the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the requirement to dispose of surplus ammunition and weapons stocks.

President BUDIMIR appreciated the opportunity to discuss EUFOR’s current tasking and, while noting several areas are not in his current direct portfolio of responsibility, found it useful to be fully appraised of how EUFOR is currently focusing its work effort.
Both MG HEIDECKER and President BUDIMIR valued the opportunity to meet and exchange views on their respective priorities and key action areas for 2013.
