Change of Command in Multinational Battalion (MNBN)

On 21st April, COM EUFOR, Major General Bernhard Bair, marked the handover of command within the Multinational Battalion (MNBN) with a medal presentation to the outgoing commander, Lt Col Antonio A. Otero Garcia of the Spanish Marines.

Flanked by troops from each of the four contributing nations, COM EUFOR presented Lt Col Otero Garcia with his Operation ALTHEA medal and commended him on the professionalism and enthusiasm of his soldiers.

Lt Col Jose Manuel Estevez Payeras of the Spanish Marines has assumed command of the MNBN and looks forward to his tour of duty in BiH.
