Over the past three days, EUFOR, the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and medical professionals from the Emergency Medical Services of Banja Luka and Sarajevo have conducted joint MEDEVAC training focused on enhancing coordination, interoperability, and overall readiness.
This type of training is extremely important. It allows us to refine our tactics, techniques, and procedures, and ensures that, if required, we can respond quickly, effectively, and in a fully coordinated manner. It also reflects a shared commitment across military and civilian partners to continuous improvement and to maintaining high professional standards in line with international best practice.
What we have seen over the past number of days is strong cooperation, professionalism, and a clear ability to work together across all participating organisations. That level of coordination is essential in ensuring that we remain ready to respond to any situation.
Importantly, this training should provide reassurance to all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It demonstrates clearly that EUFOR, the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and civilian medical services are trained, prepared, and ready to support them if required, and to safeguard peace, security, and stability across the country.
Through continued joint training and close partnership, EUFOR remains committed to supporting the authorities of Bosnia and Herzegovina and to maintaining a safe and secure environment for all citizens.
