Personnel from EUFOR’s Multinational Battalion (MNBN) and members of the 2nd Infantry Battalion, 5th Infantry Brigade of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina (AF BiH) came together at Camp Butmir for a “Sports Friend Run” event aimed at strengthening cooperation, integration, and interoperability.
The event brought together 20 mixed teams consisting of both national and multinational personnel, with five participants in each team. By combining participants from different nations and units, the activity encouraged teamwork, mutual understanding, and stronger professional relationships.
Designed as a social and sporting event, the initiative provided an opportunity for participants to enhance Esprit de Corps, physical fitness, and cooperation while reinforcing the strong partnership between EUFOR’s Multinational Battalion and the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Events such as these play an important role in fostering cohesion among multinational personnel and strengthening collaboration with local military partners, contributing to a shared commitment to peace, stability, and security in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
