Today, EUFOR personnel from 15 contributing nations were recognised for their service during a Medal Parade held at Camp Butmir.
The ceremony brought together members of the multinational force as well as distinguished guests, including Ambassadors and Defence Attachés of the contributing nations, who attended to mark this important occasion and demonstrate their continued support for the mission.
Addressing the assembled personnel, the Commander of EUFOR, Maurizio Fronda, expressed his appreciation for their professionalism, dedication and commitment while serving in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
He highlighted that the efforts and cooperation of EUFOR personnel play an important role in supporting the maintenance of a safe and secure environment, contributing to lasting peace, security and stability in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Medal Parade represents an important moment of recognition for the men and women serving under the EUFOR mission and reflects the strong multinational cooperation that underpins EUFOR’s continued support to the authorities of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
