Today at Camp Butmir, COM EUFOR Major General Florin Marian Barbu received Hon. Matteo Perego di Cremnago, Undersecretary of State for Defence of Italy, and H.E. Sarah Castelani, Ambassador of Italy to BiH.
Discussions focused on Bosnia and Herzegovina’s security environment and the importance of cooperation with both local and international partners. COM EUFOR expressed appreciation for the Italian soldiers serving under EUFOR.
The Undersecretary also visited the Italian contingent, strengthening bonds and acknowledging their valuable contribution.
