Visit of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Hungary and Austria

On 27th of March, during their stay in BiH, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Hungary, Dr. János Martonyi and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Austria, Sebastian Kurz, took the opportunity to visit the Commander of EUFOR, Major General Dieter Heidecker and their respective troop contingents.

Transfer of authority of the Spanish contingent in Bosnia and Herzegovina

On 14 March 2014 a transfer of authority ceremony of the Spanish contingent in Bosnia-Herzegovina (BiH) took place in Travnik.
It was presided over by TRADOC´s commander, Brigadier Robert Susac, and also attended by Brigadier Skrijelj, chief of Training Division.

During the military ceremony the eighth rotation of the Embedded Advisory Team TRADOC Improvement (EAT-TI) took over from the seventh rotation. Lieutenant Colonel Pablo Moreno Galdós carried out the actual transfer of authority to Lieutenant Colonel Antonio Luzón Muniesa, who will command EAT-TI 8 for the next six months.

Capacity Building and Training - Needs Assessment and Roadmap Agreement Meeting

On 6th March 2014 took place at Camp Butmir, with representatives of the AF BiH and Capacity Building and Training as participants. The goal of the Capacity Building and Training Needs Assessment and Roadmap Agreement meeting was to assess the needs and gaps of the Armed Forces BiH in the field of training, in order to elaborate a roadmap for 2015 and 2016.

Full Operational Capability of the Hungarian company

The Multinational Battalion of the EUFOR in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BIH) consists of a Turkish and a Hungarian infantry coy and a staff of Turkish, Hungarian and Austrian soldiers. On the 5th of March the battalion commander, Lt.Col. Harald Scharf inspected the mission-readiness of the Hungarian infantry coy, which has been in the theatre since January this year.
