Masters students from the International Humanitarian Action Course of the Catholic University of Louvain, near Brussels, visited EUFOR on 6 April 2011. The Master course has a multi-ethnic audience and involves Universities from Europe and all over the world.
The 17 students are undertaking a study week in Bosnia and Herzegovina to investigate how an EU mission works in a post conflict environment. As part of that process, Professor Amine Ait-Chaalal Director of the Centre of Studies on Crisis and International Conflicts (CECRI), together with Professor Catherine Gourbin had organised a visit to show the students EUFOR’s role as the military component in the overarching European Security and Defence Policy mission.
